Hi, I'm Lindsey, the owner and founder of Guardian Pet Sitting of LI!

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them has grown into something much more than just a passion. With over 10 years of combined experience in dog training and veterinary emergency medicine, I've had the opportunity to work with animals of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and medical needs.

I began my journey working in dog training, where I spent five years learning about animal behavior, building trust with dogs, and working with a wide range of temperaments. From energetic and playful dogs to those who are nervous, fearful, or require extra patience, this experience taught me that every animal is different and deserves an individualized approach.

I later spent five years working in veterinary emergency medicine, where I gained valuable hands-on experience caring for animals in stressful and sometimes critical situations. This strengthened my ability to recognize signs of distress, remain calm under pressure, and understand the importance of attentive, compassionate care.

Why I Started Guardian Pet Sitting of LI:

As a pet owner myself, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets behind when traveling or spending time away from home. Finding someone you genuinely trust with their care is incredibly important.

I created Guardian Pet Sitting of LI to give pet owners a dependable, experienced alternative to traditional boarding facilities. I believe pets are often most comfortable in their own homes, surrounded by familiar routines and environments.

My goal is to provide personalized care that allows your pets to maintain their normal routines while giving you peace of mind knowing they're being looked after by someone who truly understands their needs.
